As a gymnast for most of her adolescent years, Angela operates best when setting goals for herself, achieving them and then challenging herself with a new set of stretch goals. Competing in figure started out with a six-pack contest and snowballed from there. She loves to train and most of all, she loves the results.
Recent competitive success includes winning first place in the 2006 NPC USA Figure Championship, Class D and the 2006 NPC Contra Costa Figure Championship, Class C. Competing at least 2-3 times per year, Angela, after earning her Pro card, has now set her sites on winning the figure competition in her class at the next Olympia.
Her focus and her drive are her key assets. Her training routine includes consistent cardio as well as weights. For the larger muscle groups, legs in particular, her advice, don’t skimp on the weighted lunges. Her favorite pre-workout supplement is Nitro Fire as it allows her to push harder and lift heavier.
